Goulding House

More from the archive, The Goulding Summer House house was restored in 2002 by Frank Fahey of Scott Tallon Walker. The house was originally designed by in 1972 By Ronnie Tallon of STW. The steelwork was constructed by Sisk, Goulding himself supposedly put in much of the Glass and Cedar. I photographed it in 2002 for STW during the world cup finals. There are more images in colour on my main website www.paultierney.com I quite like the black and white images, they seem appropriate for the structure. John Donat took the first images in the 70’s. The AJ published an article by in July 2002 with an article by Andrew Mead. Image Magazine published a great essay by Ellen Rowley on the history and design of the structure.
