Tom Stanley, Back in the day when you could advertise cigarettes in a shop. This is A shop in Tallaght, I asked them if i could make a photograph of the shop. It was taken on a 5×4 plate with neg film ( 160nc Kodak).

Ribena 3pk juice drink “Arggghhhh” , kinder surprise, cigarette, fanta, hula hoops, curly wulries, a paradise of sorts.

Architecture Ireland posted a small write up on my Exhibition in Darc Space of Images of shops fronts.

Mulligans, is up near Donore Avenue. It is opposite St.Theresa’s Gardens. The Gardens were named after the Marion Year of 1954. Fatima Mansions, St. Michaels are similarly inspired by the Marion Year.

This was exhibited in the RHA as a set of retail themed images. The photograph was taken when I was working on Donore Avenue Sports centre for Martin Henhcion of Henchion Reuter.
